Experiencing the allure of luxury handbags from an early age, my journey began with cherished memories of my mother's Gucci and Louis Vuitton treasures. Influenced by her impeccable taste and the easy, casual style of the 70’s and 80’s, luxury became intertwined with my identity.
Growing up, family travels were adorned with Gucci and LV duffles, alongside Prince tennis racquet bags, weaving luxury into the fabric of our adventures. As a teen driven by a passion for style and individuality, I honed my skills as a treasure hunter in the quaint confines of my hometown. Thrift store excursions with friends became a ritual, uncovering hidden gems amidst racks of vintage Levi's, grungy flannel shirts, and perfectly worn leather jackets that created a unique balance against the high end.
A pivotal moment arrived when I was gifted a Louis Vuitton Pochette Florentine upon my college graduation, solidifying my affinity for fine craftsmanship. My personal love affair with handbags blossomed when I self-acquired my first luxury piece at age 26—a Louis Vuitton Speedy 30, marking a career milestone in the bustling streets of NYC.
As a sportswear designer immersed in the vibrant fashion scene of New York, I approached practicality with luxury, shaping my aesthetic and further developing my personal style. When venturing across the Atlantic, I indulged in the thrill of European shopping, reveling in the unmatched savings and exquisite customer service. Drawing from my experiences as both a buyer and seller of luxury goods, I understand the allure and challenges of online retail, emphasizing the importance of trust and authenticity.
